As the Practice Manager, Christin Orkwis is responsible for coordinating and managing a variety of Advanced Healthcare Solutions projects. Her knowledge of patient needs, the inner workings of the practice and the community afford her the ability to handle everything from marketing strategies to assisting the acupuncturists with patients. It is Orkwis’ desire to provide solid health information that drives her to support the practice and help patients navigate their health needs.
Orkwis began educating people about good health practices in college while working with Health Works, where she provided peer outreach on campus about sexual education. At Advanced Healthcare Solutions, she is one of the first points of contact and works with patients beginning with new patient seminars throughout their time at the practice.
Prior to joining Advanced Healthcare Solutions, Orkwis served as the director of business development for Sageworks, Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biobehavioral Health and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts and Sciences; both from The Pennsylvania State University.
A native of Spring Church, Pennsylvania, Orkwis resides in Raleigh with her Labrador, Brody, whom she takes to the dog park often. She also enjoys running, being on the beach, going to the gym, watching Pittsburgh and Penn State sports, and traveling home to see her huge family.
